The Great Puraanaas, From The Hoary Past of This Sacred Land of Aryans :

Saw the following lines, within quotes, just now, on the Facebook Timeline of my Cousin Anna, Kv Chellappa

"It is being talked about that Puranas are our true history. The history that we are taught is guesswork and prejudiced, but it is too much to take Puranas as real history of ancient India."

This was an immediate inspiritation for the present write-up of mine, that follows next :

Any history, modern, medieval, ancient, or prehistoric, is great History, if it has to teach us something sublime, something of immense value to us humans, to make our lives meaningful, and
worth living.

Even a fairy tale, I believe, is a great historical story, if it has something meaningful in it, I mean some pearls of wisdom, to take us on the path of righteousness ( Dharma ), and make our lives useful to those around us, or at least to our immediate family members.

What is the use of a Story, History or whatever it is, if it's just a listing of historical events, listed in perfect chronological order, with exact dates, if it's going to make no difference, no sublime changes, in the way we are living our lives right now, other than just overloading our minds for no reasons with junks, and bringing down its data-processing speed, I mean its efficiency ???

Any History has some amount of Masaala in it, including my own life history, that I write, every now & then, on multifarious social media sites. In such write-ups of mine, a good amount of truth is definitely there. But it's never 100% truth, always. Some Masaala has to be added, to make the write-ups, interesting & humourous, and also as a medium to share the humble knowledge & wisdom, that we gain through our experiences.

The History Books of modern day world, only have a massive listing of historical events, with exact dates, & some manipulations made, to prove something, in somebody's favour.
If the manipulations are made, to teach something of sublime value to us, manipulations are acceptable. Else, it's of no use to anyone, anywhere.

Our Great Ashtaadashaa Puraanaas, have taught, are teaching, and will always teach us sublime things of life, explaining Eternal Truths, in the form of simple entertaining stories, for the masses to assimilate the incomprehensible, complex Truths of the Immortal Vedas, in the simplest possible language.

I don't see anything unacceptable, in giving a sacred status, to these accurate, or inaccurate historical events, of the remote past of this creation.

I really wish, World-Class Animation Movie Makers of the world, like Disney Pixar & others come forward with full enthusiasm, to make beautiful Animation Movies, for children & grown-ups alike, from around the globe, based on these life-transforming, sublime, Pauraanic stories, of ancient India, of our glorious Bharatavarsha.

There may be violent objections, to whatever honest opinions, I have expressed here. But I stand by whatever I have stated here. Pictures, attached here, have been collected from elsewhere.
